Giorgio Armani surprises shoppers at Armani Exchange Posted: 05 Nov 2010 09:41 PM PDT Shoppers at the Armani Exchange store in SoHo got a surprise this week when Giorgio Armani himself showed up. According to spies, the legendary designer walked around the store complimenting shoppers on their selections. When one customer seemed on the fence about buying a metallic puffer coat, Armani "gushed about the piece and made quite a convincing argument." After getting Armani's nod of approval, the shopper bought the coat and ripped off the tags so she could wear it out of the store.
