Local hair salon owner Scott Miller may be the most peripatetic fashionista in the Rochester region.

Miller, who owns hair salons in Pittsford and Webster, has been part of famed designer Giorgio Armani hair team for some time and last week was in Milan to create the hairstyles for the Armani show during Fall Fashion Week in that Italian city. Miller is part of a team headed by Oribe, the internationally known stylist.

Miller and his group will get about 50 models ready for the runway.

Besides running his local business, Miller has been traveling the world as part of the Armani fashion-show team.

The Milan show is the fifth Miller has participated in the past eight months.

The Scott Miller salon in Pittsford is at 3340 Monroe Ave. and the Webster store is at 980 Ridge Road.

Hours in Pittsford are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
